Jacqueline Power Doud, Ph.D, has been appointed by the Governor as the Independent California College and Universities representative on the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC). Doud served for eleven years as the first lay president of Mount Saint Mary’s College. She has more than 35 years of experience in senior administration, following nine years of teaching experience in French, humanities and education.
Doud earned a bachelor of arts degree in French from Mundelein College in Chicago; a masters of arts in French literature from the University of California, Berkeley; and a Ph.D in higher education from Claremont Graduate University.
Doud’s first meeting as the new representative on CSAC was September 13, 2012.
