Save Our Cal Grant!

All AICCU schools provide an education with a mission to educate students without profit motivation, and Cal Grants provide a powerful public-private partnership to help our students and families achieve higher education goals without excessive debt.

However, the Governor is proposing to reduce the Cal Grant maximum award to students at AICCU schools by 44% - from $9,708 to $5,472! This is despite the fact that there has not been an increase in the max award in 10 yeras, declining its present value by 30%!

Less than 3% of the state's entire higher education budget goes toward funding Cal Grant students who attend AICCU schools, but the return on our investment from them is immense - they have the highest 4-year graduation rate in the state.

Don't let these cuts go through! Contact your elected officials and tell them know what the Cal Grant means to you!
